Every year, every time Tet arrives, my family rushes to prepare for Tet. Father rushed to the lane to buy peach stems for Tet, the second brother cleaned the house and the altar clean. My mother placed a vase of fresh flowers and prepared a tray of five fruits to decorate the altar. And I washed dong leaves, treated beans for the whole family to pack banh chung. Each person each work, sometimes teasing, teasing each other makes the spring atmosphere becomes more joyful and warm. On the evening of the 30th of the Lunar New Year, my family gathered around the pot of banh chung and welcomed the New Year's Eve, watched the fireworks and wished for a peaceful new year. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, I wear new clothes and my parents come to wish my grandparents a happy new year with grandparents and uncles.
