It keeps you informed of all the anxious or counselors from the night before, so you can start your day in complete comfort. This also makes great sense for self-discovery and reflection: after maintaining writing every day for several weeks, set aside one afternoon each weekend to reread what you have written. If you see similar concerns and problems popping up, then it's a good idea to get rid of those thoughts so we can't overwrite you. If you find that you kick off each morning with critical work, then you can try to work cells with yourself, start your day with optimism, or maybe with a major calming exercise. I like yoga, walking in the park or a few minutes of meditation.
