The Tran Temple Festival in the northern province of Thai Binh was recognized bu UNESCO as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2014 . The festival takes place annually from the 13th to the 18th of the first lunar month every year to worship all fourteen Tran kings and members of their royal families . There are many worshipping rituals that take place during the festival . Beside that , many traditional activities are also scheduled , including rice-cooking , blowing up clay firecrackers , and Chung cake wrapping contests . Among them , clay firecrackers , which are made of a kind of soil , are very famous in Thai Binh and I enjoyed it very much.
