The warld first film was shown in 1859 by two French brothers Louis and Auguste. Though it only consists of
short, simple, scene, people love it very much. The film has been popular since them. The first films were silent, whith title on the screen to explain the story. Soon the public had their favourite actors and actresses, in this way the first film stars appeared. In 1927 the first “talkie”, a film with sound was shown and from then on, the public would only accept this kind of film.
