On November 19, Google officially launched Stadia, a streaming and gaming service without having to own a hardware storage device. The service supports a wide range of developing games and a reasonable price. Just days before its launch, Google announced that it will offer 22 games when the service launches, nearly double the number of titles the company has previously said. Google will compete with a host of formidable competitors in the online gaming industry, betting on the future of video games in cloud computing instead of traditional physical hardware devices. Microsoft is currently testing its Project xCloud service, and Amazon is rumored to be developing its own cloud-based gaming service. Sony recently discounted its cloud-based gaming service, Playstation Now, just before Google launched Stadia.
