Here you are :)
Preserving good traditions and customs is one of the most important things to maintain our diverse culture. In my opinion, making "Banh Chung" at Tet holiday is one of the most beautiful traditions that we should preserve. For the Vietnamese, making "Banh Chung" is the ideal way to express gratitude to their ancestors and homeland. In the traditional conception of Vietnamese people, the process of making Chung cake is the opportunity for the family to come together. Sitting around the warm fire, all members of the family tell one another the past stories and are ready for a New Year with wishes of the best things. Nowadays, in some big cities, the business lifestyle of modern society prevents people from preparing the cake; therefore, we must have a plan to maintain this wonderful tradition. Organizing a program that encourages people to recreate traditional rituals such as worshipping the Three Kitchen Gods, releasing carps, erecting a Neu Tree, and making Chung cakes is a good suggestion.
