* Đối với Động từ tobe:
(+) S + am/ is/ are+ N/ Adj
(-) S + am/are/is + not +N/ Adj
(?) Am/ Are/ Is (not) + S + N/Adj?
=> Yes, S + am/ are/ is.
=> No, S + am not/ aren’t/ isn’t.
* Đối với Động từ thường:
(+) S + V/ V(s/es) + Object…
(-) S do/ does + not + V_infinitive +…
(?) Do/ Does + S + V_infinitive?
=> Yes, S + do/does
=> No, S + don't/doesn't
- Với các từ có tận cùng là “o”, “ch”, “sh”, “x”, “s” "z" thì thêm đuôi “es”.
- Với các từ có tận cùng là “y” thìbỏ “y” và thêm đuôi “ies”
- Với các từ còn lại, thêm đuôi “s”.
* Dấu hiệu nhận biêt: Trong câu xuất hiện các trạng từ chỉ tần suất
- Always, usually, often, sometimes, frequently, s seldom, rarely, hardly, never, generally, regularly,….
- Every day, week, month, year,…
