6. The erosion leads to soil degradation and eventually complete destruction

1. Both African and Asian elephants play an important role on their ecosystems and contribute to the tourism and community incomes in many areas.
2. We try to conserve their habitat by supporting local communities to make natural resources available for coming generations
3.WWF is working to conserve elephants in both continents by some specific programmes
4. The programmes aim to improve the elephant protection and management to reduce poaching and the illegal ivory trade
5. We shouldn't buy ivory products because illegal trade of ivory is one of the greatest threats to elephants today.
