In Vietnamese culture, eating is an art, it not only aims to meet the basic human requirements but also has a close relationship with the lifestyle and national traditions, which are clearly shown through utensils used in meals, how to deal with people while eating. Therefore, eating also demonstrates the history and cultural formation of Vietnam. The dishes through each stage show the life, the people of that period and the land - where each dish was born. When enjoying dishes, the nature of blending ingredients in an integrated manner becomes more and more clear: Vietnamese people rarely eat any separate dishes, enjoy each dish, but a meal is usually a combination of dishes. Another special feature of Vietnamese cuisine that other countries, especially Western countries, do not have is the seasoning of fish sauce. Fish sauce (Nuoc Mam) is used frequently in most Vietnamese dishes. During meals, food is scooped into bowls, bowls, plates and served in a circular tray and always has a bowl of sauce placed in the center of the tray. Food and sauces are shared.
