The following essay is all about "The Beatles". The reason why I have chosen this boy-band, is because they are very famouse esspecially in mid 1960's.
Paragraph 2
"The Beatles" is an English rockband formed in Liverpool in 1960, with 4 members whose name are John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They briefly called themselves the Blackjacks
back in 1957, before changing their name to the Quarrymen after discovering that another local group were already using the name. On 11 February 1963, the Beatles recorded ten songs during a single studio session for their debut. And in January 1963, two months ahead of the album, it reached number one on every UK chart except Record Retailer.

John Lennon, who is the singer of the band, wrote a song called "Imagine", to propagated people to stop clueless wars for a better world. He even used his fame to sold his private photos in order to raise fund and stop the cold wars. However on the 8th of December, 1980, he was murdered just a day after his picture was sold.

I chose this band not only because they are famous, but also because of their influences that they had done to the musical market. They are also very kind and generous as they donated all of their America tour income to charity. And thats all about my favourite band.
