There are many interesting novels, but my favourite one is yellow flower on the green grass(Tôi thấy hoa vàng trên cỏ xanh). It's one of the best works of Nguyen Nhat Anh- a famous writer.It's was made by film in 2015, too.The story is about the poor childhood of brothers Thieu and Tuong in the countryside of Vietnam. A place witnessing the first life vibrations of both, family affection, sincere brotherly love, as well as words of envy, jealousy and pain in the process of growing up. This is the first time I feel my childhood is racing back in my memory. The novel is really success, the book has been awarded the Asean Prize. About the film, it has won 4 awards at the 19th Vietnam Film Festival. This is a very real story. It makes readers really want to live in the book, turn into children next door, close, familiar. If you have change, you must read the book or watch the film.
