What can we do to save the environment? Recycling is a great way to help the planet. Recycling is when we create new products from used materials. Bottles are said to be the most commonly recycled material. However, the process includes many steps. First, people collect bottles from recycling bins and take them to the factory. Second, the bottles are cleaned to remove any food, liquid, or chemical residue. Next, all of the bottles are broken up into small pieces. Then, they are melt down and processed into raw materials. And finally, factories sell these materials to other companies to make them into many different products such as toys, tools, electronic gadgets and other plastic things in our home.
