On the Tet holiday last year, I and my family prepared for Tet together happily because it was the first time we celebrated Tet in our new house. While my parents cleaned and arranged the furniture, I and my brother decorated the Kumquat tree and the peach blossom with some beautiful small decorations, put parallel sentences on the frontdoor and took the flashing lights around a tree in the front yard. On Tet, We visited our grandparents and relatives and gave them best wishes for new year. Besides, we enjoyed many traditional dishes such as: boilded chicken, spring rolls, Cha Gio, Banh Chung and pickled onions. I loved taking part in some activities on Tet in my village: watching cockfights, receiving lucky money and spring walking.
