II.GRAMMAR:         

1.Tính từ miêu tả.

- Là những tính từ dùng để diễn tả tính chất, trạng thái, màu sắc, kích thước của người, vật hoặc sự việc.

- Vị trí đứng:

a. Sau động từ to be để bổ nghĩa cho chủ từ.

      Ex:  She is beautiful                                                                           Cô ấy thì đẹp

b. Trước danh từ để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đó.

      Ex: It is a red pen.                                                         Đó là một cây bút màu đỏ.

 

 

 

2. Sở hữu cách.

Có 2 cách để diễn đạt sự sở hữu của một danh từ.

a. Dùng “of” .

 

N1 + Of  + N2 N1 + ’s   + N2

b. Dùng “s”

 

 

 

Ex: The yellow cat of Minh.                                                 Con mèo vàng của Minh

      Minh’s yellow cat.                                                           Con mèo vàng của Minh

 

* Lưu ý: khi dùng hình thức “ s” .

- Nếu chủ từ là số ít ð thêm  ‘s  sau danh từ.

- Nếu chủ từ là số nhiều có “s” ð thêm dấu phẩy (‘) sau “s”

Ex: Doctor’s car                                                                                       Xe của bác sĩ.

      Students’ names                                                                      tên của các học sinh.
