CẤP SO SÁNH CỦA TÍNH TỪ VÀ TRẠNG TỪ

1. Lí thuyết:

                              
                              4 dạng so sánh của tính từ và trạng từ

1. So sánh bằng

• Dùng để so sánh hai sự vật, hiện tượng có/ không có tính chất tương đương nhau
• Công thức 1:       

                       

                              Ex: She is as tall as me (Cô ấy cao bằng tôi)

                                     Nam does the homeworks as well as Lan (Nam làm bài tập về nhà tốt như Lan)

• Công thức 2:

                           

          Ex: There are as many flowers in my house as in her house (Nhà tôi có nhiều hoa như nhà cô ấy)

                 I drink as much water as him (Tôi uống nhiều nước như anh ấy)        

• So sánh không bằng: Có thể dùng “so…as…” thay cho “as…as…”

          Ex: I am not so/as tall as her (Cô ấy không cao bằng tôi)

                 She is not so intelligent as her mother (Cô ấy không thông minh bằng mẹ)

2. So sánh hơn

• Công thức với adj/adv ngắn

                          

                   Ex: I run faster than him = He doesn’t so fast as me

                          I study harder than him = He doesn’t study as hard as me

• Công thức với adj/adv dài (từ 2 âm tiết trở lên)

                         

       Ex: Mai is more beautiful than her sister (Mai xinh hơn chị gái cô ấy)

             No one in my class is more intelligent than Hung (Không ai trong lớp tôi thông minh hơn Hùng)

Một số lưu ý:

• Những adj/adv mà từ gốc kết thúc là “y” thì đổi thành “i” rồi thêm đuôi “er”

                                               Easy ⇒ easier

                                               Happy ⇒ happier

                                               Early ⇒ earlier

                                               Lazy ⇒ lazier

• Một số từ như narrow, clever, quiet là tính từ dài (2 âm tiết trở lên) nhưng ta vẫn thêm đuôi “er” khi so sánh hơn : narrower, cleverer, quieter.
• Những adv được cấu tạo từ adj bằng cách thêm “ly” thì ta dùng more + adv: more carefully, more slowly…
• Đặc biệt:   good/well ⇒ better

                    Bad ⇒ worse

                    Litter ⇒ less

                    Old ⇒ Older/Elder

                    Far ⇒ Farther/ Further

                    Many/Much ⇒ More                   

3. So sánh hơn nhất             

• Dùng để diễn tả sự vật có đặc điểm nổi trội hơn các sự vật khác (từ 3 sự vật trở lên)
• Công thức adj/adv ngắn  :

                    

                               Ex: Hieu is the strongest athlete in our team (Hiếu là VĐV khoẻ nhất đội tuyển)

                                     Russia is the largest country in the world (Nga là quốc gia rộng lớn nhất trên thế giới)

• Công thức adj/adv dài:  

                               

       Ex: Anh Vien is now the most excellent swimmer of Vietnam (Hiện nay Ánh Viên là vận động viên bơi lội xuất sắc nhất Việt Nam)

              Today is the worst day of my life (Hôm nay là ngày tồi tệ nhất trong đời tôi)

• Lưu ý:
• So sánh hơn nhất thường đi với cấu trúc : S + have + ever + V2

        Ex: This is the most interesting book I have ever read

               This is the best film I’ve ever see

• Khi nói nhất trong số nhiều đối tượng thì ta dùng of phía sau (hoặc có thể đảo lên)

         Ex: I like Math the most of all subjects in my school

                Of the three ladies, Emily is the tallest

• Trường hợp sở hữu cách trong so sánh nhất, ta có thể bỏ “the”

         Ex: This is my best pencil

4. So sánh kép: (càng….càng….) 

       a)  Một chủ ngữ:

• Adj/adv ngắn:    

                                     

                                 Ex: It is colder and colder (Trời càng ngày càng lạnh)

                                        He is taller and taller (Anh ấy càng ngày càng cao)

• Adj/adv dài:

                            

                      Ex: She is getting more and more beautiful (Cô ấy càng ngày càng xinh)

b)Hai chủ ngữ:  

     Ex: The more the merrier (Càng đông càng vui)

            The younger you are, the easier it is to learn a foreign languge (Bạn càng trẻ thì càng dễ học ngoại ngữ)
